The Parrishes’ ministry in Portugal which began in 1986.<\/h3>\n

They served with the Word of Life Bible Institute and Camp, as well as the Portuguese Bible Institute, from 1986 until 1995.\u00a0 Dave travelled and taught in the extension schools in Coimbra, Lisbon, and in the Algarve, as well as providing pulpit supply at the International Church in Cascais.<\/h3>\n

They also contributed to a church plant in the Mafra\/Ericeira area where they lived.<\/h3>\n

Dave earned a diploma from the University of Lisbon, Language and Culture.<\/h3>\n

After returning to the U.S. in 1995, Dave has continued visiting Portugal to preach in churches, speak in specialized seminars, and assist in building projects.<\/h3>\n

One of his major initiatives was writing a handbook on Pre-Marital Counseling, “Casamento 5 Estrelas,” which was published in 2002.<\/h3>\n
